Dr. Rust began his practice in Otolaryngology here at Greenwood Ear, Nose, and Throat. He is a North Carolina native, earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology from North Carolina State University, obtained the honor of Valedictorian and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Rust then earned his Medical Degree from The University of North Carolina School of Medicine- also graduating with Honors and Distinction in 1991. He completed his General Surgery Internship in 1992 and his Otolaryngology Residency in 1996 at the University of Florida. Dr. Rust brings to Greenwood the latest technology in endoscopic sinus treatment of snoring and sleep disorders, and head and neck cancer management. He and his wife, Lynn, make their home in Greenwood. They have 2 daughters. Dr. Rust enjoys golfing, gardening, fishing, and church related activities.
